Food Assistance

All Synergy students may receive a free breakfast and lunch each school day. Supper meals are served to students participating in the afterschool program. All children under 18 may also eat supper meals on campus at the school cafeteria. First come, first served.

LA County Parks Food Program
LA County Parks is expanding the capacity of its Food Program at parks. LA County Parks provides the following food safety net service programs for youth, teen, and seniors:
 
Free Healthy Youth Snack Program at 48 parks (Monday-Friday @ 3pm-4pm) - ages 17 and under.
Free Hot Supper (Dinner) Program at Our SPOT Teen Centers for teens at 16 parks (Monday-Friday @ 7pm) - ages 12 to 18 years old.
Free Senior Food Program for older adults at 9 parks (Monday-Friday) - ages 55+

City of LA Family Source Center Weekly Food Distribution

Come pick up fresh produce, pantry staples, and other groceries for you and your family - completely free of charge for low-income residents of the City of Los Angeles. 

 

Download the list of food distribution locations here or visit their website to find a FamilySource Center near you. They serve ALL Angelenos regardless of immigration status and include weekend options.
