Welcome to Synergy Quantum Academy!

Welcome to Synergy Quantum Academy, where we are committed to creating a learning community where every scholar can excel academically, socially, and civically.

Since opening our doors in 2011, Synergy Quantum Academy has remained deeply committed to serving the students and families of South Los Angeles. As a STEM-focused public high school serving scholars in grades 9–12, we are committed to disrupting educational inequity by ensuring our scholars have access to high-quality instruction, meaningful learning opportunities, and the support needed to thrive in college, career, and beyond.

At SQA, our work is grounded in three core values: Power, Pride, and Purpose. These values reflect our belief in empowering scholars to recognize their potential, take pride in themselves and their community, and pursue their education with a strong sense of purpose. Together, we are building a school community where scholars recognize their power, take pride in who they are and where they come from, and pursue their goals with purpose.

These values come to life through a learning environment that challenges scholars to develop perseverance, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills. Through rigorous coursework, hands-on STEM learning, college and career preparation, leadership opportunities, extracurricular activities, and comprehensive counseling services, we strive to ensure every scholar graduates prepared to confidently take their next step.

Just as importantly, we believe education is rooted in relationships and a strong sense of belonging. Our dedicated teachers, counselors, staff, and administrators work together to create a community where scholars are known, supported, challenged, and encouraged to bring out the best in themselves and one another.

Our families are essential partners in this work. Through parent conferences, Coffee with the Principal, family workshops, leadership opportunities, and community events, we encourage families to remain actively engaged in their scholar’s educational journey and in the life of our school.
